Year 1 Summer 2 Week 4

Maths
This week we found whole and half turns quite difficult, especially when starting in different positions, so we will continue to practise this in school next week.
We will also be revising place value of numbers to 100.
Literacy
In literacy, we will be continuing our work on Hansel and Gretel and we will be writing a diary entry as though we are Hansel. We will be making sure we use full stops, capital letters, conjunctions and adjectives in our writing.
Science
For Science, we will be looking at living things and identifying the difference between things that are/were living and things that are/were not.
