Home Visits for New Starters!

Mrs Divall - 06 Sep 2015

Happy new school year everyone!

Miss Hopkins and I have been very lucky to visit lots of lovely, friendly homes this week!  Why? Because we are making sure we know our new Reception children as well as possible so they feel comfortable with us on their first day in Reception! We really hope that by doing this, and the stay and play sessions last summer, that the children will have a smooth and happy transition into our primary school.  We have a few more visits this week, inbetween washing all of the toys and preparing the classroom for maximum fun and learning the first week back.

Thank you so much to everyone who have welcomed us into their homes.  We hope you have found our visits useful and not intrusive, and you feel your questions have been answered.  If you do have any more, please contact me via the school office and I will be happy to get back to you as always.

See you soon Reception class!! We really can't wait!

Mrs Divall :)
