Our last few days as the smallest in the school....

Mrs Divall - 15 Jul 2015

Hello all,

This is my second attempt at uploading an update for you all - so I apologise if two articles that are similar end up popping up on the home screen!

This week, the children voted to learn from 'The 3 Billy Goats Gruff.'  tomorrow we will be interviewing the troll!  We have made troll models, rewritten the story, role played it, added instruments, solved number problems to cross the troll's bridge.

Next week, we will be:

Monday - having a 'normal' school day, with some added end of year fun

Tuesday - bring your own toy/game to school (please label, don't send in anything extremely precious) and cinema screening in the afternoon

Wednesday - party games in the morning and a sad goodbye to the Leavers in the afternoon!

May I take this opportunity to tell you that I have loved teaching your children over the last two terms.  As a class, I have to say this is definitely one of my favourites.  We have had a great time together, and although I know they are ready and eager for Year One, I'll be sad to say goodbye to them and I'll miss teaching them lots (although I am sure they won't look back!!) I am proud of every single child in this class.  They have all made excellent progress and as a school we can be very proud of Reception classes overall attainment at the end of Foundation Stage.

I hope you have a safe, restful, fun and sunny summer holiday!

Mrs Divall x :)
