The Twits' New Chapter

28 Jun 2017

Over the past couple of weeks, Year 3 have been reading The Twits by Roald Dahl. They have really enjoyed the story and have produced lots of good writing from it including diaries and newspaper reports.

Last week, the children looked at all the nasty tricks the Twits play on each other throughout the story and we decided to write our own chapter for the book. The children used direct speech in their writing and they looked closely at how to add the small actions Roald Dahl uses to show what disgusting characters they both are! I was particularly impressed with how well Jekalynn and Adenike were able to write in the same style as Roald Dahl. Their chapters are below.
