A magical week in year 3...

This week has been very exciting in year 3. We started looking at our local area and the important buildings we have in Havering. The children were very amazed to find that Rainham Hall is over 200 years old!

In science we have been creating shadow puppets to make our own shadow puppet theatre. We are going to retell the story of George and the Dragon with our puppets next week! Any spare shoeboxes you have at home would be much appreciated for the children to make their theatre with!

The most exciting part of this week was, of course, world book day. The children all looked fantastic (especially Bellatrix and Moaning Murtle). Here are some pictures of the young witches and wizards below:
