Hello from Ms. Savage!

13 Oct 2017

Hello year 3 parents and carers. I'd like to introduce myself as the new Year 3 class teacher. It has been delightful to meet the class this week and I'm very impressed with the way they have settled down and carried on with their good work.

In Literacy we have been writing our own version of "The Frog Prince" fairytale with focus on speechmarks/inverted commas and descriptive writing.

In maths we have been subtracting 3 digit numbers from 3 digit numbers. Some children have even solved word problems involving this operation!

Our topic is Heroes and Villains and we have been looking at the lives of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole.

Have a lovely weekend,
Ms. Savage.
