Last week of half term

26 May 2017

Wow, I cannot believe we have reached the half term already - where did this half term go?! This week has been very eventful for Year 3. They have written some lovely mystery stories in Literacy based on Ottoline and the Yellow Cat. In Maths, we have been looking at different aspects of geometry including angles in shapes and horizontal and vertical lines. Blue table found examples of right angles in every day objects around the school. Grace, Liam, Khaydan, Sawyer and Mason were brilliant at sharing what they found with the other children!

Yesterday afternoon we had lots of fun making a Greek dish. Children used feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and red onions to make a Greek salad. Some of the designs the children created were very interesting!

I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday and half term week. See you in a week!
