It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

11 Dec 2015

What a week in year 3! It is definitely beginning to feel more festive, with all of our Christmas decorations in class and the children excited about giving and receiving their Christmas cards! Added to that is of course the Christmas Carol Service! Year 3 were absolutely fantastic and I would like to thank parents for bringing so many of their children back for a great evening turnout.

This week in Literacy we have been writing our own autobiographies. The children have been thinking about what they like and dislike as well as important events that have happened in their lives.

In maths the children have been working hard with division. They started off the week finding the division fact that matches the multiplication fact, and then moved on to division with remainders.

The children have been extra excited about Science this week, as we made our own fossils! The children really enjoyed ripping open their cup and removing the clay to see their fossil - they now understand more about how they are formed!
