Year 3 with a little bit of pixie dust!
15 Nov 2015
Year 3 have had another great week in school.
In maths the children have made me very proud by persevering with fractions and finding fractions of amounts which we found a challenge at first!
In literacy the children have been impressing (and entertaining) me with their use of direct speech. At the end of the week they used direct speech to write a story about a little caveboy called Ug, who wanted to join in with his friends to play his favourite sport - rock-ball!
Did something else exciting happen this week for year 3? Oh no it didn't! Oh yes it did! We were lucky enough to watch a pantomime performance of Peter Pan! By the end of the day, the children all had smiles on their faces and were wishing for some pixie dust to visit the boy who never grew up themselves. :)
