Ottoline and the Yellow Cat

This week Year 3 finished reading 'Ottoline and the Yellow Cat'. They were shocked to find out who the culprit was and how Ottoline and Mr Munroe caught them. We tried writing our own suspenseful settings just like in the story, and children used prepositions and conjunctions well to convey the mood.
Towards the end of the week, we have started to think about writing our own mystery story involving Mr Munro and Ottoline. We have been writing out a plot for our stories, and wrote our opening too. Next week we will hopefully have some wonderful tales full of crime solving and clues to share with you on the website!
