Meet Green Gnome!

This week we had not one, but two special visitors in year 3! We had Mrs Divall join us for a lesson, and she was accompanied by one of her friends - Green Gnome! He was very sad as he had lost his home, so year 3 kindly made him some new options and worked out much each one would cost him. Green Gnome loved being in year 3 and would love to make another visit!

In Science, the children made observations about the seeds we planted a few weeks ago, and came to the conclusion that seeds will grow the best when they are in the sun. We also took a visit down to reception, where we identified the different types of herbs and vegetables that have been planted there. We found carrots, chillis, long beans and the children's favourite... mint!

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
