What's been happening this week in year 3?

18 Sep 2015

This week in year 3 we have been learning all about healthy eating in Science. The children learnt about different food groups and worked hard to create their own healthy plate.

In Topic, we have been discovering what good things come from living near a volcano. The children really enjoyed learning about the Blue Lagoon and watching videos of geysers. They were very shocked to see a volcano in a country as cold as Iceland!

We have also started adding some new songs to our repertiore in maths. We have been learning our times tables by singing along with popular songs with slightly different lyrics! I have added the links below as some of the children asked if they could listen at home. Enjoy! :)
