The Ancient Greeks are coming!

Dear Parents / Carers
Another busy but enjoyable week is coming to an end. The children are currently learning about Theseus and the Minotaur in Literacy and have been telling the time in analogue and digital formats.
In science we have been investigating whether or not magnetic fields can be blocked (pictures enclosed). As part of our Ancient Greek Topic, we are having a Greek Day on Monday 11th December where children will learn about different aspects of Ancient Greek life. If possible, the children should wear a simple,loose fitting Greek robe over their uniforms. They will also be tasting some simple Greek snacks such as olives, pitta bread and feta cheese. Please let me know if your child has any food allergies.
