Thank you to those parents and carers who attended the parent consultation evenings - it was a pleasure to meet you. We have had another busy week in year 3 witih more work on fractions and writing about mythical creatures from ancient Greece. In science we investigated which materials produced the greatest amount of friction. We also made clay pots as part of our Design and Technology/Gods and Mortals topic. These will be painted next week when the clay has dried. Next week in maths we are learning about money. If you have time, could you give the children the opportunity to familiarise themselves with all currency in circulation especially coins and their values in terms of pence.
