Year 3 get green fingers!

This week year 3 have really been getting involved with their new science topics all about plants. At the beginning of the week, each table planted a sunflower seed. We are looking forward to seeing which table's flower will grow the tallest before the summer holidays!
Year 3 have also been carrying out an investigation. They have been investigating which is the best environment for a plant to grow in. Year 3 first had to write their question, predictions and method to follow. To investigate, each pair planted a pea seed, then either put their pot in the sun, cupboard or the fridge. Which will be the best place for our plants to thrive?! To be continued...
