This week in year 3 we were very lucky to have a very special visitor - the very cute Fudge and his owner Ruth. They visited us from the Dog's Trust charity to educate us about caring for dogs and dog safety. Fudge was very well welcomed by all of year 3 - we all wanted a cuddle! Well done to Olivia, Pippa and Kareena who faced their fear of dogs and found that stroking them isn't too scary once you follow Ruth's 3 steps!
This week in maths we have been investigating different areas of geometry. With me, green and yellow tables used Venn diagrams to sort 2d shapes by their properties. The class learned new vocabulary such as quadrilateral, polygon and equilateral/ isoceles triangle!
We have also been learning about right angles. Mrs Billyard took Blue group for a hunt around the school and they found lots of every day objects that have right angles in them! The Brady badge itself had lots!
