The Local Offer

15 Sep 2014

What is the ‘Local Offer’?

The Children and Families Bill will become enacted in 2014. Local authorities will then be required to publish and keep under review information about services they expect to be available for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) aged 0-25. This is the 'Local Offer'.
Last year, the Local Offer Steering Group developed questions for schools. These questions will be answered by schools, colleges and agencies to provide information to parents and carers. This will enable them to make decisions about how to best support their child’s needs.
Please click on the link below to view Brady Primary School’s current responses to these questions. At Brady Primary School we are constantly looking at how we can improve the provision for our pupils therefore our responses will be reviewed regularly and updated if necessary.
