Christmas Card competition
03 Nov 2015
The competition is open to all children aged 4-11. They need to design a Christmas card on A5 white paper. Try to keep the design as simple as possible, coloured felt pens, pencils and paint is ok. Unfortunately no glitter or glue as this impedes the printing of the final card.
On the back of the card please write the child’s name, their class and the school name. Enteries will be collected from the school office on 16/11/2015, in order to get them judged and printed in time.
1 winner and 1 runner up will be choosen from every school. They will both win prizes and a goody bag each. The school with the most entries receive a free meal for two at Kusadasi Taverna Restaurant for a date of their choice. There is an overall winner of the competition whose design is used as Jon’s Christmas card. There is also an overall runner up. We contact the winning schools to ask the parents what the children would like, in recent years they have received a bike, tablets, mobile phones etc.. The winner also receives tickets to see a West Ham game of their choice. Both winner and runner up receives the goody bags also.
There is a lovely prize giving ceremony for your children at the Dagenham Civic Centre on 4/12/15 where the children and their families are invited, along with representatives from the school.
