First Week Back

20 Apr 2018

Hello and a big welcome back to school ! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter break.

This week in Literacy the children have been editing and improving their myth narratives. They have worked extremely hard to include varied sentence openers, descriptive language and relative clauses. In Maths we have been doing some geometry this week. We looked at the properties of rectangles, amongst other quadrilaterals, and how our knowledge of their lines and angles can help us to find missing angles.

Next week is of course Stubbers! The Year 5 team are extremely excited, as are the children! Please note that your child should be dropped off around 8.45-9.00 on Monday morning outside the Maple Lodge at Stubbers. I have attached the newsletter and this half term's homework map below.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday!
