Week 3

21 Jun 2019

Maths
This week in Maths we have been recapping our learning in Number. We have been rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10 000 and 100 000 as well as rounding decimal numbers to one decimal place. We have also been carrying on number sequences using our problem solving skills.

Literacy
This week in Literacy we have been looking at theme parks to decide how they use persuasive devices to draw customers in. We then created our own theme park maps and thought about the persuasive language we would use to advertise our own theme park.

Topic
In Geography this week, we have been looking at how rural and urban land uses differ, and looked at where theme parks in the UK are located to learn about this. We also used search engines and contents pages to help us decide how effective theme park websites are. In Science we started our new topic, which will be forces.

Below are photos of a rounding game that we thoroughly enjoyed!
