Last week of Autumn Term

Year 4 - 19 Dec 2014

This week in year 4:

We researched Celtic Round Houses from the Iron Age! (Kitty)

We have made our own information pamphlets about the Round Houses (Martha)

We have made poetry booklets with our best poems for the display wall (Rocco)

We have been learning about different types of imagery poems; simile poems, personification poems, cinquain poems and Haiku poems! (Harry and Mollie)

In Art, we created our own Guiseppe Arcimboldo Sketches (Michael)

In P.E we have been learning how to make a diamond shape around our goal keeper during a goal kick. (Rachel and Alice)

We have had a marvellous film treat snacking on yummy sweets and savouries while watching funny films (Ashleen and Jerusha)

For maths, we have been learning about time and data, creating Bar Graphs for our heart beats! (Dillon and Harry).

Homework for your child's year group can be found under the "Home Learning" tab - then look under "How to help your children learn". 

Copies of the homework packs can be collected from the office between 10.00am - 2.00 pm Mon-Thurs up until the 16th July
(You may have to wait if copies need printing off).
