Spring 1 Week 3- Robots!

20 Jan 2017

In maths this week we have been learning about recognising and writing 2 digit numbers. We have been working hard to learn how to use a 100 grid to add on and take away. Please correct your children if they form the numeral the wrong way around!

In Literacy we have been reading “King of Space”. We have been learning about how to make –ing words and some of us learnt about the double consonant rule, and how we need to take the “e” grapheme off before adding –ing. We have been describing and making our own robots too, like Rex did in the story!

In RE we are learning about a faith a week. This week we learnt about Sikhism. Miss Bhambra’s mum made us some food for us to taste! And we had a look at some objects that sikh people see as symbols. We enjoyed this!

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Bhambra
