Week 3 Learning

What a fabulous week of learning in Year 1 last week! We have been doubling numbers, writing exciting sentences and using our senses in Science!

The children are really focussing on being able to write 'Golden Sentences'.

We have been using the following criteria to help us write exciting sentences:

Your idea must start with a capital letter.
You must use finger spaces.
You end each idea with a full stop.

I have seen so many children really improve on their writing by using the above criteria.
