GDPR- Privacy Notice for Pupils and Families

25 May 2018

You may be aware that new laws designed to protect the rights of the individual in the modern information age come into effect from 25th May. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets out stricter requirements for how we handle Personal Data (data that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual).

This is a positive development designed to help us all understand and control how our data and our children’s data is being used. In our school it means that we need to communicate how we manage personal data and provide evidence that we are fulfilling our legal obligations.

Please find attached the Privacy Notice for pupils and families.
