Year 4's Paper Skyscrapers

Mrs Zaayman - 14 Oct 2016

Year 4 have been thinking about and learning 'Where would you build a city?' as part of their topic this half term.

This week, we looked at lots of different skyscraper in London, Japan and Dubai. We identified similar and different features of the skyscrapers.

We were then set a challenge to build our very own skyscrapers. they had to be as tall as possible and stable. We were only allowed to use six pieces of A4 paper, five pieces of A3 paper and four pieces of sticky tape.

Below are some pictures of us making the skyscrapers and the finished products. Which group do you think made the tallest and most stable skyscraper?
