Year 3 Week 5
28 Mar 2019
I would like to say a huge well done to Year 3! Their assembly was fantastic and I am really proud of all of the children for doing extremely well. The children have been practising all week and were very excited to show the school and their friends and family. I would also like to thank those who were able to come along to watch the assembly.
Literacy and Maths
This week has been assessment week and the children have been very focused and working hard. Next week, we will be revisiting operations in maths and beginning to look at the features of a non-chronological report.
Topic
The children have been learning about animals that roamed the earth in the Stone Age and those that are now extinct. After, the children made their own woolly mammoths using milk cartons, brown tissue paper and pipe cleaners.
