It's Half Term!

20 Oct 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,
The children have had another busy week. In maths they have been increasing their understanding of 2 and 3D shapes and in literacy they have been using a range of adverbs to make their writing more descriptive. Their topic for next half term is Gods and Mortals and they will be learning about life in ancient Greece as well as reading and writing Greek myths. As part of this, we will be having a 'Greek Day' on December 11th and it is usual for children to dress in role so I am asking you to put aside any unwanted plain sheeting which could be made into robes. More information about the Greek Day will be included in a later letter.

www.ducksters.com gives some useful information about ancient Greece.

The next science topic is all about magnets and this website gives some useful facts:

Thank you for your ongoing support and have a pleasant half term

Miss J Savage
