Musical Scientists.

This week, we have continued with our ‘Beat Band Boogie’ topic. Children created their own drums using the cartons and pots you have kindly donated.
 
We have been reading the story of the ‘Pied Piper of Hamelin’ and written about what happens to the children after. The focus has been on using descriptive language.
 
In maths, we have been looking at number bonds and patterns we can apply when using addition and subtraction.
 
In science, children explored different sound pitches, glasses made according to the volume of water contained.
 
This week, we are hoping to design our own guitars. If you have any sturdy boxes (no bigger than a shoe box) at home your donations would be gratefully welcomed.
