Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.

15 Jun 2017

People from history connected to the sea has been a focus in topic work this week. We found out about Captain Cook and Admiral Nelson. The children collected some interesting facts and some will be shared in our class assembly.
In maths we have been revisiting time which the children have enjoyed especially time bingo.
Mrs Agate very kindly made us soup from the vegetables we had grown which was delicious.
In science  we did some cross curricula work as we  read a poem called the sound collector and then used sound words in our own poems.  Again some will be shared in our class assembly.

Just to remind you that our class assembly is on Thursday at 2.30. Did I mention it! (Sorry)
After you can look at the children's class work.  Be prepared for some cool surfers, a very naughty puppet and not forgetting an iceberg,a lighthouse and someone called Horatio.
Hope to see you on Thursday.

Kiera loved the soup so much she asked me to make some, however mine isn't as nice as Mrs Agates as she took one mouthful and said it was yuck!
