What should we eat to be healthy?

25 Nov 2016

In science this week we looked at a food pyramid and different groups of food. The  children found out facts about carbohydrates, protein, fruit & vegetables and fats. To link with 5 pieces of fruit or vegetables a day , we looked at the work of artist Arcimboldo who created portraits with food. Some super work was produced and is on display in the corridor.
In topic work we used an Atlas for the first time and located countries in Africa as well as designing kente patterns using symmetry and repeating patterns.

In RE we found out about the ten plagues that were sent to Egypt until the Jewish people were allowed to leave. Some great work from Daniel,William,Tore,Jakub,Aashna, Elizabeth and Isobel.

Some super work in Maths this week by John and Logan. Keep it up boys!
