Spooky fun

22 Oct 2016

This week we had fun in literacy as it was a spooky week!.
The children used some poetry techniques to create a scary poem and finding a spooky house and bravely going inside. Then they read their work to the class with the lights out and some background music. Here is the result! Well done to everyone for some great work this week. I do love a scary story!
In Topic work we listened to some traditionl music from different countries which the children responded to with some interesting comments. Maths we had a focus on number and completed some assessments.
Children will be starting their times tables next half term so work on this over the holiday.
I hope you have  a great week. Have fun!
