To have a class pet or not? That is the question.

I hope that you enjoyed our class assembly on Thursday.It was lovely to see so many parents and carers. I know the children were reallly excited about it and wanted to show all their work.It is great for the children to look back over their work and see how much progress that they have made.Did you enjoy our Titanic scene. I just couldn't resist adding this in. The boy band definately will be breaking a few hearts in the future.

Today we had another debate with year1 . This time the theme was all about having a class pet.4 children presented for and against and then we voted with a ballot paper. We counted the results and it was 35 for and 20 against.Well done to those children who presented their case. So during the holidays I may be shopping for a tarantula or perhaps a millipede or even some giant land snails. Mr A has said he is not sharing his class with anything that is hairy or has 8 legs!

Don't forget the short meeting on Tuesday after school about moving up to the juniors. If you can't make it I will send a letter home with the information.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the summer fair.
