Famous Artists

30 Apr 2016

Year 2 been working hard at developing their story writing. It was really rewarding to see how so many children are using all the different techniques, grammar and work we have covered this year. A very big well done to Aaron, Olivia, Daria, David V, David A,Brooke S, Ryan and Amelie who all produced really interesting stories. Also a big well done to Grace, Della, Ria, Layla and Nathan who have made excellent progress in literacy.
We are looking at the work of some famous artists and creating our own pictures. First we had Henri Rousseau with Tiger in a tropical storm. Then Jackson Pollock where we used the computer to create our own yellow islands. This week we found out about Vincent Van Gogh and the very famous sunflowers. Here we are taking care to create those iconic flowers in class on Friday.
