Bonnets, seeds and the meaning of Easter.

24 Mar 2016

Although we were at school for only 4 days they have been very busy. In literacy we have been writing stories about a hen. We had some excellent pieces of work showing just how many different aspects of literacy  the children are able to use in their work now.
In Science we carried out an investigation with seeds to find out if they need soil to grow and in maths we have explored reading scales for different aspects of measure.
In RE we have discussed the real meaning of Easter so the children are aware that it is a very important time in the Christian faith.

The bonnet parade on Wednesday yet again was a real success with so many fantastic creations.
Today we had a little egg hunt with clues and a prize for the winner who guessed where the egg was hidden. Well done Nimi.

Dojo winners this week  were Brooke S and Frankie.

The children have some seeds to plant in a pot for homework as well as some assessment sheets.

I hope you have a lovely Easter and enjoy the rest.
