Puppets,poems and pedal power.

07 Mar 2015

Last week seemed to fly by so quickly. We started our new topic and found out about Queen Victoria and some inventions during her reign. The children enjoyed trying to guess how some very old artefacts were used in the past.Their ideas were very interesting and certainly made us smile.

The children also started on their glove puppets which they have designed and are now making. These are based on story characters and include Robin Hood, Rapunzel. Elsa, little pig, Gingerbread man, Captain Hook, Mildred the witch and Plop the owl. Watch this space to see their results!

World Book day was fun with the class and they liked listening to stories and poems in the hall. We also made a smoothie by pedal power on Thursday which was very unusual.
