Eggcellent hunting for Easter eggs.
30 Mar 2017
Maths this week was all about data. We collected information and made tally charts,
Venn diagrams, graphs and pictograms. In science we are planting vegetables and herbs in the outside area and we discussed the difference between fruit and vegetables.
We have found out about the real meaning of Easter and the children asked interesting questions to understand the story.
On Wednesday it was the Easter bonnet parade with all those fantastic hats. On Thursday it was an Easter themed BRICS.
For fun today we had an egg hunt where we had to solve clues to find eggs around the school. Then eggs were hidden behind numbers . Three children won chocolate rabbits!
For homework the children have some reading and maths papers to try over the holiday. They also have spellings and a small writing task.
Have a lovely Easter break . Enjoy the sunshine and don't eat too many eggs! Here we are collecting data and hunting for eggs.
