Week 3

Mr Armitage - 01 May 2016

The sun's shining as I write this article. I hope our sunflowers are also enjoying the weekend sunshine! 

I have been particularly delighted by the high-level of vocabulary used this week to describe the thoughts and actions of Noi in 'Storm Whale'. The children continue to amaze me by the excellent words they want to use in their writing. They are now writing with greater independence and are working hard to vary their sentence openers. 

Our maths work this week has involved us solving many tricky multiplication problems by using formal methods. The children have been partitioning numbers to solve calculations. Again, I'm mightly impressed by the resilence shown in maths this week.

Open Evening for Parents of Children due to start Infant or Primary School in September 2019

If your child was born between 1/9/2014 and 31/8/2015 they will start infant or primary school in September 2019.  The application process is already open and will close on 15/1/2019.

If you would like to visit Brady before submitting an application, you're welcome to come along to our open evening on Tuesday 6th November, between 4-6pm. No appointment necessary.
